I'm trying to figure out the right age for my child to start kindergarten in New South Wales (NSW). I've heard different things from different people and would love some clarity.
From my understanding, children can start kindergarten if they turn five on or before July 31 in the year they begin school. This means the typical age range for starting kindergarten is between 4.5 and 6 years old.
Is this correct? Can anyone share their experiences or additional information? How did you decide the best time for your child to start school?
Thanks in advance for your help!
